Landscaper pro is a computer program used for plotting out and designing professional gardens at home. The idea was born from the need for a faster and more efficient way of designing landscape plans.

Landscaper Pro enables you to create a professional garden plan in a matter of minutes compared to often days of work by a "Free hand artist". The benefit of this being that, in the garden business time is money, and the less time spent drawing a plan, means the more time doing the garden. It also means you could draw up multiple plans in one day, greatly increasing productivity.

Landscaper Pro's plant database is made up of the most commonly found and most suitable plants for our unique South African climate, every plant has a full description on its growth habit, position, flowering times and, where possible, handy growing hints too! The plant plug-ins are full digital top view pictures in plan view, and reflect the area that the selected plant will occupy when fully grown, allowing users to avoid over-planting.

The plants in the database are all categorised, and include: Trees, Shrubs, Annuals, Creepers and Climbers, Herbs, Vegetables, Bulbs, Perennials and Groundcovers and Fruits which makes the search for the right plant quick and easy. The photos in Landscaper Pro are excellent and can be made full-screen, which makes it easy to learn plant identification.

Our unique Irrigation tool is as easy to use as turning on the tap. It has complete lists of all the fittings and adapters, from T joints to micro-jets. Everything is also color-coded so that you know exactly which thickness of pipe or fitting you're working with.

With our Structures tool you can accurately map out the area of your house, pool, or patio. By plotting out a series of points you can create any shape in the garden.

Landscaper Pro contains hundreds of Digital textures for you to use anywhere. This enables you to place "real" digital photos of stones, grass, sand and even plants, into your project, giving you an exact aerial view of what your garden will look like. This feature lets you know exactly what look will work with your garden.

Equipment list contains all those extras for the garden like, benches, water features, statues and even tools! This tool uses CAD style drag and drop to place all the features you could want.

This is where you learn what's attacking your plants, how to stop it and what to use. These pages contain information on all the common South African pests and diseases and could be an invaluable aid in solving tricky gardening problems.

The quotation viewer at it's most basic totals up all materials used in the plan and creates a text document for you to print. The quotation viewer is also our most exciting idea, in the near future we plan to link it up to everyone in the garden trade via the internet and e-mail, giving you instant prices, information and even online deliveries while on the move.
